Providing a safe withdrawal is the first goal of detoxification while the second is to prepare the patient for appropriate treatment follow-up. Socially monitored detoxification services are available at our residential treatment center under the supervision of our consulting physician. Each patient is given a physical . Technicians provide 24-hour medical observation and assessment services. Medications to minimize withdrawal symptoms are used as part of our treatment regimen when necessary. If there are complications, the patient is referred to a local acute care hospital.

· Individualized detox assessment and treatment.

· Medical monitoring (including medication management) of withdrawal symptoms 

· Qualified consulting physicians, Nurse Case Manager, and mental health technicians to assist in the withdrawal process and reduce the discomfort of withdrawal.

· Help in obtaining follow-up services to aid further recovery.

· The average length-of-stay of a detox admission is 3  to 5 days.
